RYA Start Sailing Keelboat L/1

A weekend course on keelboats is the first RYA sailing course which covers all the basics of balance, wind and tide effects on small boats. This course will be using two keelboats- Beneteau 7.5.  The keelboat is a large version of a dinghy and has an electric outboard motor. There will be two instructors on each boat and they will accommodate 4 students per boat.

The weekend will cover safety, balance, wind and tide effects plus use of winches and outboard. Each participant will learn how to set sails, crew and helm easy courses

You will gain an RYA Start Sailing certificate and you can then progress to either dinghy L/2 or keelboat L/2.
