GYC Social Team are delighted to welcome Mary Tester (Founding director of Thames Seat Watch) to talk about “What lives in the Thames?”
Once declared biologically dead just 60 years ago, the river is now home to a unique marine ecosystem. Discover the shocking wildlife living in the Thames, how the river is changing in response to environmental pressures, and what this means for both wildlife and our daily lives. You’ll also learn how to get involved in protecting our native seal neighbours, which are now spending longer periods in London’s waters.
